Alex Astarita is an Associate at Clarus Capital on the Investment Management team. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was on the Transaction Services team at Liberty Mutual Investments. In this role, Alex focused on supporting the direct lending and structured credit deal teams through each phase of the transaction process, from initial investment onboarding, to valuation and surveillance, and portfolio management. Alex began his career on the corporate side at Liberty Mutual where he participated in their two-year corporate finance rotational program. Alex received a B.A. in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Bentley University and has passed the CFA Level I and II exams. In his free time he enjoys traveling, reading, and just about anything physically active.
